Annie Anderson taught a wide range of sporting activities in the English Education System, initially specialising in Gymnastics, Dance, Athletics, Hockey and Racket games. She has been a Professional Squash Coach since 1979. Having experienced back pain for many years, Annie was introduced to Pilates in 1998 on the advice of a chiropractor. Annie loved the gentle correction of the classes and the back pain of 25 years steadily reduced and now rarely troubles her. She decided to train to teach Pilates herself, enrolled with Body Control Pilates© and qualified in 2003. Body Control Pilates© offers the most rigorous training and ongoing supervision of its teachers and has now become the leading trainer of Pilates teachers in the UK. Its teaching qualification now has National Recognition at Award level 3. Annie is on the National Register of Exercise Professionals. She has been teaching Pilates in France since 2004 (SIRET 47890955900013). She has attended a range of extending courses, recently working towards the Level 4 qualification.
